Jr. Kristi Buerkle won the women’s 200-meter dash with a school record time of 25.26.
Friday, Feb. 19
W. Hockey: UMD 5, BSU 2
Jr. forwards Annie Bauerfeld and Erin Cody each had a goal and an assist in the BSU loss to UMD.
M. Hockey: BSU 3, Niagara 2
Jr. forward Ian Lowe had a goal and an assist as BSU clinched their third straight CHA regular season title.
Saturday, Feb. 20
W. Basketball: Winona State 78, BSU 67
Fr. guard Shannon Thompson led BSU in scoring with 19 points.
W. Hockey: UMD 3, BSU 0
Sophomore goaltender Alana McElhinney made 22 saves as the Beavers were held off the scoreboard in their final game at the Glas.
M. Basketball: BSU 88, Winona State 86
Freshmen guard Lance Rongstad scored a career high, and game high 29 points, as the Beavers swept the season series with Winona State in a last second thriller.
W. Tennis: BSU 5, Northern State 4
Senior Lindsey Luberda, junior Katherine Wolak and sophomores Kelli Christiansen and Miranda Milless each picked up a singles win. Doubles team of Milless and sophomore Britney Greenwaldt won as the Beavers beat Northern State.
M. Hockey: BSU 6, Niagara 1
Sophomore goaltender Dan Bakala made 32 saves and sophomore forward Darcy Findlay scored two goals, as the Beavers won the last game in the Glas.
Sunday, Feb. 21
M. Baseball: BSU 10, Northern State 2
Junior pitcher Ryan Sander struck out 5 batters in 5.1 innings to pick up his second win of the season. Sophomore first basemen Jeff Schaper went 3-3 at the plate.
W. Tennis: UMD 7, BSU 2
Senior doubles team of Cheyanne Maki and Farrah Steinke won in the no. 2 doubles spot and the sophomore doubles team of Kelli Christiansen and Miranda Milless won in the no. 3 spot.
M Baseball: BSU 17, Northern State 4
Junior first basemen Ryan Sander batted 3 for 3 and picked up 4 RBI as the Beavers swept the doubleheader against Northern State.
Monday, Feb. 22
M. Baseball Game 1: BSU 4, Northern State 2
Junior pitcher Dan Bauer picked up the win, and had 2 RBI as the Beavers won their third consecutive game against Northern State.
Game 2: BSU 4, Northern State 3
Senior third basemen Colton Smith knocked in 2 runs and junior second basemen Dan Bauer batted 3-4 with 1 RBI.
