"Winning is not everything" is the message being sent to our beloved community. The men's basketball team has been lead by Matt Bowen since 2006. The great community of Bemidji has not seen one conference, regional, or national title.
Bemidji State University has seen success in other sports. The men's basketball program needs a new leader. Matt Bowen has shown our community that a winner is not in the works. We have to recruit players that will be productive on the court, like they are off. How many more losing seasons must this community be asked to watch?
BSU states it is an equal opprotunity employer. If Coach Tom Serratore had the same record, for men's hockey, it would be fair to say he would be looking for another job.
As I end, Coach Bowen please, please step down and allow BSU find a winner. Thank you.
