I’ve been on a couple dates with this guy. He’s really nice and everything, but I just don’t feel anything between us. I don’t want to hurt him, but I don’t want to date him anymore either. What to do?

You need to tell this guy that you’re just not interested in dating him and that you don’t have those kinds of feelings for him. The worst thing you can do is to lead him on. You’ll just keep dating him, pretending that you like him, which, in turn, will make it worse for him in the long run.
Just nicely say, “I don’t have any strong feelings for you, and I don’t want to lead you on.” He’ll be more understanding if you explain everything to him. You never know—maybe he feels the same way and doesn’t want to hurt your feelings. In the end, you’ll feel better about yourself.
