February 11: Fire alarm Security responded to a fire alarm in Oak Hall. The alarm was caused by a smoke bomb that had been set off in the basement of Oak Hall. Bemidji Police were notified. Vandalism Security responded to Tamarack Hall on the report of vandalism on a wall. Bemidji Police were notified. February 13: Water leak Security was notified of water leaking in a janitor’s closet in Oak Hall. Someone had plugged a drain and turned on a faucet resulting in water leaking through floors. Bemidji Police responded and took a report. The owner was notified and questioned. February 16: Suspicious person Security responded to memorial Hall on the report of a suspicious person. The area was checked and no one was found. Medical call Security, Bemidji Police, Bemidji Fire and Bemidji Ambulance responded to a medical in Sanford Hall. One individual was transported to the hospital. Elevator Problem Security responded to the Library for a report of an individual stuck in an elevator. A maintenance worker was able to fix the problem. Vulgar language An individual was removed from the men’s hockey game for using vulgar language. February 17: Hit and run Security responded along with Bemidji Police to a no injury hit and run accident in the Maple Hall parking lot.
