As we creep closer to Christmas and the holidays, that warm winter music begins ringing in our ears. The sounds of Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby and Eartha Kitt start to fill our ears.
Although most of us don’t end up sitting around a fire roasting chestnuts, we’ll still be able to get that warm holiday feeling with the music we listen to.
It seems that we always seem to see the latest and greatest Christmas collections come up this time of year.
Through all the unpleasant “various artists” albums, there are a few that have stood out as worthy to hear.
Some of the notable albums are This Warm December Vol. 1, Elf Soundtrack and a Very Special Christmas Vol. 1.
“My favorite album would be ‘Now That’s What I Call Christmas,’ but the best song is defiantly ‘Wonderful Christmastime’ by Paul McCartney,” said junior Luke Tichy.
Some of the popular holiday songs are “Let it Snow,” by Dean Martin; “The Christmas Song,” by Nat King Cole and “Winter Wonderland” by Tony Bennett.
After mentioning the songs to junior Gabe Permann, he added, “Those are good ones, but my favorite song would have to be ‘Little Drummer Boy’ by Bob Dylan.”
