Bored to Death
HBO’s hilarious new comedy show about three New Yorkers who are looking to bring some meaning into their life through various detective cases, smoking pot and dealing with life’s little upsets. The story follows character Jonathan Aims (which is the real name of the show’s creator) played by Jason Schwartzmen, who is a writer for Edition Magazine, and moonlights as a private detective. The show also features Ted Danson, Aims’ boss, who is trying to find a meaning to life without his fancy cars, nice condo and beautiful women. The series's funniest cast member, Zach Galifianakis, plays a pothead cartoonist with no job, trying to get in bed with his longtime girlfriend. Be sure to free your schedules for the ninth episode plays this Sunday at 9:30 p.m. on HBO.
