    Twenty-year-old Gary Wayne Jennings returned home last Saturday at 8:50 p.m. to find four members of his family unconscious on the ground in their home and promptly called the sheriff’s office for help.          The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the “unknown medical crisis” call from Frohn Township.   The Beavers' 5-1 victory this weekend was the 500th win for the Bemidji State University (BSU) men’s hockey team in the John Glas Fieldhouse. This is the last season the Glas will be used for hockey, and is the 43rd season it’s been used. Full story

50 Cent Performs At X-Games

           Nearly $7,000 per minute — that was what 50 Cent was paid to play a half-hour concert at the X-Games in Aspen, CO, for a grand total of $200,000.     It was a great spectacle to see the infamous 50 Cent (Curtis Jackson) prance around on stage and get the crowd hyped up, but it was a little unfortunate to hear him lip-sync a few songs.
